Ahhh, the far-from-dulcit tones of a man shouting at you from the TV selling a warehouse full of carpets, bags, socks, computers – whatever – that have fallen off the back of a truck.

So when it came to doing a retail ad for PlayStation, an ad that needs to scream price at people but in a PlayStation way – we decided to think about what happens when that guy goes home. Can the guy who spends his whole day telling you to Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! switch off after a hard day at the office? Well, I guess that depends on how good the deal is.

And dialing up the retail offer didn’t end on TV. In-store we created some over-the–top POS that stopped just short of slapping you in the face with a great deal.
